We are excited to share with you about our student ministry or “FSM” (Fellowship Student Ministry.) We are a ministry that serves 6th to 12th grade students and their families. FSM seeks to support and equip parents through the discipleship of their students. Our desire is to walk alongside families as students develop into replicating followers of Jesus Christ.
The adolescent years are unique for students and culture has it’s own ideology of what a “teenager” is. Yet we believe that students are a vibrant piece of the church and are called to a higher standard than today’s culture. At Fellowship Memphis, we want to balance students having their own place to having a peer faith family while also not being extracted from the larger faith family. Therefore we highly value students being a part of the adult weekly worship service but we also have separate regular programming for our students.

The Mix is our co-ed, weekly large group meets monthly on Sunday evenings. This group is ideal for new students who can get to know our ministry in a relational and fun environment. Group activities include fun, biblical discussion and hang time. The Mix is open to all students and everyone is encouraged to bring friends.
Our small groups called D-Groups are and integral part of growth in the lives of our students. These groups are designed for deeper study of the Bible, discipleship training, and forming deeper friendships in community with one another. D-Groups meet throughout the week in homes around the city. They are also aligned by age, gender, and grade. Groups are led by staff and volunteers from within our church body who pour into students through teaching and life-on-life investment.
5TH GRADE MINISTRIES
We are launching our 5th-grade ministry with monthly Friday night events. This is a great opportunity for 5th graders from every outpost to build relationships with their peers as they grow in understanding of foundations of the Christian faith and for parents to better get to know one another. We will have one meeting per month throughout the year.
