"Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you..."

• Jeremiah 29:7

God has called us to care for the welfare of the city.  What this means is not only proclaiming the truth of Christ to the souls of people, but this also means that we care for the schools, fight crime, economically empower the poor and revitalize communities.  The church does not exist to merely preach wonderful sermons, but to live those sermons in such a way that we leave gospel footprints across our city.  Memphis should be a better city holistically because Fellowship Memphis was here.

But how are we seeking to do this over the next twelve months?  

Here are some of the ways we are looking to make a holistic difference:

• Continuing our partnership with Kingsbury High School as we tutor students and encourage faculty
  
• Providing a full scholarship to a Kingsbury HS graduate to go to Crichton College beginning this fall
  
• Providing a full scholarship for a college graduate to attend Mid America Seminary
  
• Launching our global missions partnership in South Africa by helping to send volunteers over to serve 
  
• Continuing to care for people in crisis who need help with their bills
  
• Investing in new church plants nationally
  
• Partnering with local ministries like Memphis Leadership Foundation

As you can see our dreams are huge!  In order to pull these dreams off over the next 12 months we are going to need $75,000 dollars.
