1.17

1.17’s primary goal is to live out the heart of Isaiah 1:17

“Learn to do good. Seek Justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless.”

We exist to create opportunities where individuals and the local church in Memphis are connected, resourced, and supported as they engage international and local adoption and foster care.

We believe:

  • Scripture tells God’s people to take action and advocate for children who cannot speak for themselves
  • God uses His Church as the primary change agent in the lives of families and children
  • Adoption is at the heart of the gospel
  • The journey of adoption and foster care is best walked in the context of church community, training, and support
