Jonny Pineda was born in Bogota, Colombia on September 28, 1982. His mother was 17 and his father was 26. With dreams of becoming ministers, they went to school to study the Bible. Jonny grew up in a Christian environment and received Christ when he was a small child, but it took some time for him to seek God’s will in a passionate way.
After he graduated from high school, God grew Jonny’s heart to serve Him more through music and youth ministry, both things he has loved since he was a boy.
While serving at a church in Bogota for ten years he became very good friends with Susie. They married in 2006. After awhile Jonny and Susie felt God taking them to a more proactive life. They sold everything they had and came to the United States in 2009. Through many miracles, God brought Jonny and Susie to Memphis. Over the last several years, Jonny participated in Downline Institute, volunteered as part of the core group for the launch of Fellowship Downtown, and worked at Harvest Memphis, an advertisement agency downtown. They have 3 children: Kaleb, Aliyah, and Lukas.
Understanding how important discipleship is and how their family should be an impact in the community, they are in Memphis wanting to be a part of what God is doing here.
Jonny currently serves as a Worship Director for Fellowship Memphis and works in 3D animation.
