Drew was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. He first trusted in Christ as a child after his parents and church family faithfully wove the story of the gospel into his life. As a teenager and then as a college student, Drew developed a passion for teaching the Word and worship leadership, and the Lord began revealing a call to ministry in his heart.Drew attended Mississippi State University, earning a B.A. in Political Science and graduating in May 2019.
After graduation, he married Bekah, whom he first met at his church’s youth group and had dated since high school. Drew and Bekah moved to Memphis in June 2019, and they began attending Fellowship Memphis shortly thereafter. At the same time, Drew entered law school and Bekah began her career as an English teacher.
At the beginning of 2020, Drew left law school to finally pursue the call to ministry that God had faithfully sown in his heart for many years. He spent several months serving an interim term as the Worship Pastor of Trafalgar Village Baptist Church in northeast Memphis, then joined the staff of Fellowship Memphis in early 2021 as a Pastoral Resident. Concurrently, Drew is working toward earning an M.Div at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
