  1. Take some time to reread Esther Chapter 7-8.

  2. What do we learn about each feast from the first 8 chapters of Esther?

  3. How does Queen Esther gain access to King Xerxes

  4. How would you describe king Xerxes as a leader? Positive attributes? Negative attributes?

  5. Discuss the feast in Chapter 7, what is the significance?

  6. What do you believe is Haman’s greatest character flaw and why?

  7. Even though God’s name is not mentioned, how does God use Esther in Chapter 8?

  8. What lessons are we learning from the book of Esther?

  9. There was a real danger in Esther going before king Xerxes. This required Esther “risking it all.’ What are some ways we have seen others sacrifice in their lives (friends, parents, family, leaders)?
