Praying Together
Let those who fear the LORD say:
“His love endures forever.“
When hard pressed, I cried to the LORD;
he brought me into a spacious place.
Psalm 118:4-5, NIV
How We Can Pray Together
Pray
for the Lord’s presence to go before us, for Him to establish our steps ahead and strengthen us during this transition season, all for His glory.
Pray
for a continued commitment to building trust between elders and staff, leading to a renewed enthusiasm for the work of ministry at our church.
Pray
for the members of our Body, especially those who feel particularly grieved by the recent staff departures, to be known & cared for effectively & faithfully.
Pray
for the recently chosen Executive/Governing Board leadership model & alternating “Disciple-Shepherd” & “Oversight” meeting cadence to be more sustainable and God-honoring..
Pray
for the Lord to move our hearts in unity toward whatever future campus structure is most glorifying to him, facilitates our Body life and vision of being Still for the City.
Pray
for the Lord to continue directing our Lead Pastor search process according to His will & timing, & that this would lead to His desired outcome.
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ
Colossians 4:2-3 ELT
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
