Introducing FSM Connect

Students 6th grade through 12th grade come join us for Connect!

Hey FSM Families!

We hope you are having a fantastic 2021 so far. We miss all of you and are excited to share what we have planned with FSM this semester.

Last semester, due to COVID, we were unable to meet together corporately in a large group setting and we know that a lot of our students have missed gathering together. But, even though things weren't like normal the Lord showed up a lot throughout our weekly small groups! We had nearly 100 students involved every week, studying the Word with a leader and other students their age.

We want to capitalize on the momentum that the Lord allowed as well as incorporate a larger group gathering this semester. This leads us to create Connect on Sunday afternoons.

Our vision for Connect is for students to have an opportunity to connect with other students and to connect with the Lord. Connect will be taking place on Sunday afternoons from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Harding Academy.

We will plan to be outside when the weather allows, but if not we will stay indoors. Masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced to ensure the safety of every student and leader there! We are also asking students to bring their own seats (lawn chair, blanket, etc.) so we can limit the amount items we touch at Harding Academy!

At the beginning of our time together, we will have some time set aside for students to mingle and play games. Then we will transition into a short devotional time and then students will split up into their designated small groups.

We will end our time together with worship and more fellowship time. We will be having Connect every Sunday from 2/14-5/16 with three breaks (3/14, 4/4, and 5/9). We are so excited for how the Lord is going to use this time and hope you are too.

We are praying this will provide a much-needed source of connection for our students, leaders, and staff. Please let us know if you have any questions by reaching out to anyone on our staff.
