Together Week Three

Colossians 1:28-29 & 3:1-17

Greet everyone and check in on how everyone’s week has been.

  • Begin your time together by asking God to help you be aware of his presence and to be sensitive to how he is speaking.

  • Pray that God would give each of you open hearts to himself, his word, and his ways.

  • Pray that God would connect you to each other.

Read the Five Great Commissions together.

Mark 16:15

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.

Luke 24:47-48

47 and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things.

John 20:21-22

21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:18-20

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

2. What are barriers to us in fulfilling the mission of Christ? What barriers exist in the world? What barriers exist in you?

3. How do we struggle with Christ being the authority in our lives?

4. How could you help our church fulfill the mission of Christ?

5. How does sharing your faith help you grow in your faith?

6. Where can you begin to start sharing the gospel with someone?

  • Pray for specific prayer requests in the group.

  • Pray for someone you know who needs to give their life to Christ.
