Updated Masking Guidelines
Shelby County has issued updated masking guidelines which go into effect on Saturday, May 15th, 2021.
As we have done throughout the pandemic we will continue to follow the County’s health and safety guidance for our church gatherings. The biggest change is that masks are now “recommended” instead of “required” for businesses in Shelby County. We will follow that guidance as well. What does this mean for our gatherings?
Beginning May 16th,, for our Sunday services and other church gatherings, we will shift to “masks recommended” for those attending ages 3 and up.
We are using this update to also change two measures related to our Sunday Worship Services - we will no longer have registration for our worship services, and we will not tape off rows for distancing in the full auditorium.
At both campuses, we will provide seating sections for those who would prefer to keep social distance by taping off the back section at Harding and spacing out the side sections at St. George’s.
In Fellowship Kids, we will follow the same plan - masks recommended for children ages 3 and up. We will continue to utilize pre-registration for Fellowship Kids for space considerations. FK leaders will continue to wear masks in our classrooms.
