When: Thursday, July 22nd / 8:30-12:00pm Where: Meet at SOS, 2505 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38112 at 8:30am for an introduction to SOS and brief orientation to the work and goals of the day.
Teams will launch from SOS by 9am and spend the morning on SOS worksites working to pick up roofing debris and other tasks to support SOS staff teams on the roof. Participants must wear a close-toed shoe and full-length pant.
Any required safety equipment like safety glasses, hard hats, or gloves will be provided.
Please bring your own water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are highly recommended! Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation.
