Student Ministry Opportunities
We've taken a deep dive in looking at our Fellowship Student Ministry (FSM). That is fifth graders all the way through 12th graders.Brian Crenshaw has done a great job beginning a strategic planning process and many of our parents many of our volunteers and students have been invited into that.You can pray for us as we're looking to make strategic hires. We're wanting to hire both men and women to help pour into our students. You may know someone who could be our future FSM staff. Or you may have a friend or know somebody that's great with students. Let us know that. You can email me directly.Over the next few months, we will be taking a look at how we do student ministry. We are looking at what team do we need to best pour into our students. That is priority number one. Teaching Team Opportunities
As many of you know we launched Ricky Jenkins and he transitioned from our staff. As soon as he made that clear that that's where the Lord was leading, we immediately asked Jason Cook to get more of his time.Jason started with us part-time but also did some editing, writing, and some pretty heavy itinerant ministry. He's dialed back a lot of his itinerant ministry. And his commitments to editing and writing will end around April. So we'll get more and more of Jason Cook.Also, we are looking to add another teaching pastor to our team. We've got six or eight months to perform a search. If you know somebody that would be great to come help us carry a lot of the preaching load, let us know that.
