Masking Update For Sunday
Masks Encouraged Beginning Sunday August 8th 2021
Fellowship Family,
Throughout the past eighteen months, we have tried as a church family to keep in step with our local challenges related to Covid-19. As we are now seeing an uptick in transmission, cases, and hospitalizations, we feel the need to update our health and safety recommendations for worship services and other ministry gatherings.
At this time, we are again encouraging that masks be worn at our church gatherings for those attending ages 3 and up. We are making this recommendation for several reasons.
As a church family, we are charged to love and care for one another. This is one tangible way to care for those in our church family. This also allows the greatest number of individuals from within our church family to continue to worship together in person. After going months without meeting in person, being together to live out our faith is so precious.
Finally, masking to slow the spread of Covid-19 gives us the best chance to continue to meet in person. We are prayerful and hopeful this will continue to be the case.
As a church leadership team, we will continue to monitor local health guidance and respond appropriately as needed. We also continue to pray for God’s grace, care, and healing amidst the pandemic.
We invite you to pray with us! We are thankful for you!
Sincerely, The FM Elder and Staff Teams
