Red Tub Day

For 14 years, Red Tub Day has been a community celebration for children and foster families in the Memphis area. What started as a simple event to bring joy to kids, has become a community-driven party that not only gives gifts to kids but continuously supports therapeutic healing for families in need.

Join us as we fill more tubs!

Every Holiday Season, Fellowship joins together to fill and deliver tubs for Memphis children at risk or in foster care.

Since 2010, Red Tub Day volunteers have provided Christmas gifts for over 7,700 children in foster care as well as supporting therapeutic services through Memphis Family Connection Center. The donations of your time and treasure will help kids feel loved and cared for on Christmas, and will also fund life-changing therapeutic care all year long.

Where do we start?

Pick up your red tub on Sunday mornings beginning November 10.

How do we fill the red tub?

When you sign up for a red tub, each comes with details about what needs to be in your tub.

  • Please purchase only new items.

  • Include items the children would want, not only items you know they need. We want kids to feel deeply loved, seen and valued through our gifts.

  • Do not wrap the items.

  • Remove all price tags and do not include gift receipts.

  • Price range for the total cost of items in each red tub should be approximately $125 (please keep quality in mind, not just quantity).

  • Place the wish list inside the red tub and the lid on top.

  • Write child’s first name and last initial on the provided label and place on the long side of the red tub.

If you’d like to donate directly for additional red tubs, you can give online at redtubday.com or bring a check written to Memphis Family Connection Center / MFCC to the volunteers at the Red Tub Table on Sunday.

When do we return our filled red tubs?

Return your filled red tub on Sunday, December 8.
